Hot dogs originated in Frankfurt Germany and the first American version was called frankfurters. This tasty sausage could be eaten on a bun with sauerkraut and combined with baked beans. Meat manufacturers added their own twist and today, we have pork, beef, chicken, beef chili slow cooker even tofu dogs.

Consider making this chunky slow cooker beef chili beans with a fabulous presentation. Instead of the usual serving bowls, the recipe uses a bread bowl. Hence, anyone will find the dish a delight not only because of the taste, but with the visual presentation, too.

Saut? the celery, green pepper, and onion with beef in the big pot. Fry it till the celery softens and the Chunky Beef Chili becomes brown. Drain the excess oil from the pan.. Add beans to it.
